Welcome to Rooted Presence Counseling

This is a space for slowing down, listening inward, and gently returning to yourself.

Here, healing is not forced or rushed. It is something remembered through presence, awareness, and the quiet unfolding of your own story.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, or disconnection, this work invites you into a more rooted, grounded, and embodied way of being.

I am a licensed clinical social worker offering pagan and spiritually-integrated therapy in-person in Palos Heights, and virtually across Illinois. My work supports adults who feel drawn to holistic, intuitive, or earth-based ways of understanding themselves and are seeking trauma-informed, nervous system-aware care that honors both the psychological and the sacred.

We may be a good fit if you are:

  • Seeking a pagan-affirming or spiritually-integrated therapist

  • Drawn to nature-based, intuitive, or nontraditional spiritual paths

  • Navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, or life transitions

  • Highly sensitive, empathic, or neurodivergent

  • Exploring identity, meaning, or a deeper sense of self

  • Wanting therapy that integrates mind, body, and spirit

  • Wanting therapy that treats the whole person

Spiritually Integrated & Pagan-Affirming Therapy

Therapy with me is not about prescribing beliefs or imposing a framework.

Instead, it is about creating space for your existing spiritual orientation—whether rooted in pagan traditions, earth-based practices, intuitive knowing, or personal meaning—to be acknowledged and integrated into your healing process.

This may include:

  • Exploring symbolism, archetypes, or personal narrative

  • Connecting with nature as a grounding and regulating resource

  • Honoring cycles, transitions, and phases of change

  • Integrating spiritual identity with psychological healing

This work remains grounded, ethical, and trauma-informed, allowing spirituality to be supportive rather than overwhelming or bypassing.

My Approach

My approach is integrative, holistic, and somatic.

I draw from evidence-based practices while also honoring the deeper layers of meaning, story, and lived experience that shape who you are. Therapy becomes a space where both the mind and body are included, and where insight and embodiment exist together.

I believe that healing happens not only through understanding, but through presence.

Together, we move at your pace, gently exploring patterns, building awareness, and creating space for change that feels sustainable and aligned.

What I Help With

I support adults navigating:

  • Anxiety and mood-related concerns

  • ADHD and focus-related challenges

  • Childhood trauma and complex trauma

  • Burnout and nervous system overwhelm

  • Life transitions and identity exploration

  • Emotional regulation and self-understanding

  • Pagan & nature-based religious and spiritual concerns

What Sessions May Look Like

Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and paced with care.

We may explore patterns, emotions, and experiences through conversation, while also incorporating somatic awareness and nervous system regulation.

This is not a space for pressure or performance. Here, you are met as you are, with respect for your capacity and readiness for growth.

Education & Professional Training

My work is grounded in both clinical training and integrative practices that support healing across mind and body. These experiences inform a holistic, body-aware approach to therapy, allowing space for both psychological and embodied healing.
