INNER CHILD YOGA
YIN-style yoga for rest, reflection, and a return to wonder.
Inner Child Yoga is a 90-minute trauma-informed YIN-style practice designed to support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and embodied self-exploration. This class begins with gentle orienting practices, grounding techniques, breathwork, and an extended guided meditation centered on themes such as safety, curiosity, wonder, rest, and self-compassion.
These contemplative practices create a supportive foundation for students to move inward slowly and intentionally. Following meditation, students are guided through a nourishing yin yoga practice where postures are held for several minutes, allowing gravity and stillness to gradually soften tension within the body. Rather than focusing on performance or perfection, students are invited to experience the natural fluctuations of body, breath, and mind with curiosity and care.
This class honors yoga as an embodied practice that encourages slowing down, listening inward, and reconnecting with oneself gently and safely.
Open to all levels, especially those seeking a grounded, reflective, and deeply supportive practice rooted in meditation, presence, and nervous system awareness.
Led by Regina Filomeno, LCSW, CYT200. As a licensed clinical social worker and yoga teacher, Regina’s approach is grounded in mind-body awareness, compassion, accessibility, and supportive presence. For Regina, yoga is a practice where we can always begin again.
Space is limited to 6 participants for intentional support.
Preregistration is required.
Exchange: $20.00.
Bring your own mat. Props and supportive tools are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own. Please dress for comfort and ease of movement. Adults only.
